It’s walking distance to the new ballpark under construction and McDonald’s if you just want to take a stroll for an ice cream or a beverage. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation, this is it! If you MUST have internet, this place may not be for you! We do have a Hotspot but it doesn't always get the best reception. So please keep this in mind when booking. This home provides various options for your stay here. You can relax overlooking the Pascagoula river and watch as boats go up and down the river, or if you would like to bring your own boat and fish or explore the numerous bayou's within the river, you've got it all right here. The Pascagoula river is a beautiful river with lots of nature that you can enjoy. The master bedroom is very large with a gorgeous view of the Pascagoula river, and has a king size bed, and has two bathrooms. There are two guest bedrooms, both have their own private bathrooms. The guest bedroom that has a view of the river has a queen size bed. The other guest bedroom has two double size beds. There is also a queen size futon upstairs overlooking the river as well. The house will sleep 8 in the 3 bedrooms but there are also the queen futon upstairs and a queen sofa bed downstairs that can be used for additional sleeping too. . There is plenty of seating for you and your guests. There is a large sectional couch in the den with a great view of the Pascagoula river that you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee watching as the fisherman speed by in their boats in front of the house. There is also a leather couch and a queen size sofa bed in the living room if you need it for any additional guests. The dining room will seat 6 and their are 5 barstools, and there is an additional dining table located in the sunroom that will also seat 6 people. There is a full size screened in pool for you to enjoy. 2 Lounge chairs, 6 bar height stools and a small table with 4 chairs for you to sit around the pool and enjoy yourselves and still have the view of the river too. There is a boathouse for you to use with a 12,000 LB boat lift, fish cleaning station, and small refrigerator and a freezer inside the boathouse for any of your fishing needs.. This location gives you great access to miles and miles of fishing and also you can get to Horn Island in 30 minutes. Best of both worlds! We recently added a "Hotspot" for the "WIFI" but it doesn't get the best reception. So please keep that in mind when booking your reservation. We personally enjoy the Peacefulness and Relaxation of our vacation home.

We love our backyard. We have an amazing covered kitchen entertainment patio with a beautiful rainforest-like view unique to this area. Standing at the granite bar top for a crawfish boil overlooks a softly lit gazebo surrounded by palms on the cusp of the Country Club Golf Course. The master bathroom is absolutely stunning and features a large private vanity as well as two large his and her vanities, a gold foil claw foot tub with tv, and a large shower with several features. There’s lots of fun and memories to be made in this new local gem. Sleeping: Our home has 4 queens, 1 full bunk bed with twin top, and 1 single twin bed. The family room has 2 pullout sofas. We can accommodate 15 1/2 heads for sleeping. The 1/2 comes from a full size bunk being for 2 kids or 1 bigger kid. We don’t count this for adults because we are too old for bunk beds :) PLEASE READ: More than 10 heads will be an extra $150/night and you are welcome to bring a couple air mattresses. Our dishes, linens, and outdoor seating accommodate 20. But we are absolutely NOT looking for the type of guests that crams as many heads as they can in one house to save money, as these people have disrespected our property in the past and this is our personal home. So there is a nightly premium over 10 heads to weed out classless guests. If you find that statement offensive, do not book this property. This is a class A home in a class A neighborhood and any trashy behavior will be noticed by the police car that sits across the street at the city park at night. Which is there for your safety. Normal wear and tear is expected- we have dings and dents. But tearing up our window treatments and screens- not okay. You know yourself and your family. We aren’t crazy, we just had a very bad experience with chocolate syrup flipped cushions on a couch we don’t eat on and torn out blinds and punched porch screen :( Message us with your headcount and we will adjust your booking. You do not need an exact headcount over 10, but we don’t have linens for over 20. You also cannot access the bedding for over 10 without the extra $150/night fee. This helps ensure we have respectable guests in our home.

Pelican Place has 2 master suites, one upstairs and one downstairs. Amazing Gulf views await you in every room in Pelican Place. The sandy beach calls your name from the porch where you can relax and listen to the Gulf wash your cares away. As you drive down the road you might see an osprey hunting lunch or spot a Great Blue Heron standing in the water stalking a fish. All the beaches along this stretch are privately owned by the property owners. AS you enter the house on the 2nd level, you see a large open floor plan which includes the living room, dining room & kitchen, all with spectacular views of the Gulf. The large kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops. The walk-in pantry is ideal for you to stock up and cook all you meals at your home for a week. The kitchen has an island that looks into the living room. The kitchen looks out into the living room where you and watch the flat screen TV with DirecTV or watch the pelican fly up and down the coast. Off the living room and kitchen are the half bath and the laundry room equipped with full size front loading washer and dryer. To the left is the master bedroom and bath. It has a separate tub, standing shower, double sinks and granite counter tops. The master bedroom had a large walk-in closet and a king size bed. The master has stunning views of the Gulf and a door to the porch. On the 3rd floor, are the 2 guest bedrooms and the other two full baths. The bedroom on the right is the second master suite with its own bathroom and a queen bed. This bathroom has a shower and sink and looks out on the white sandy beach and the Gulf. From this bedroom, you can see Horn Island, only 6 miles away. At the end of the hall is 3rd full bath with a tub/shower and this bathroom is for the upstairs guest bedroom. The bedroom to the right has a queen bed and looks out onto the Gulf and the private white sandy beach. On the private sandy beach, you can relax, take a walk, play in the water, hunt for seashells, or fish. This beach has incredible surf fishing. You can catch speckled trout, red fish or flounder. If you have kayaks, you can launch right behind the house. I'm sorry, but we do not allow any weddings, receptions or special events. Maximum 6 guests, including children. Pelican Place is 90 minutes from New Orleans, 25 minutes from Biloxi/Casinos, and 20 minutes to downtown Ocean Springs or 1 minute to your own private beach area.

At night, we enjoy going to the end of the pier and simply relax and listen to the sounds of the night. Of course Jean never misses the opportunity to cast a line. The crabs and fish don't always cooperate, but it never gets old trying. Enjoy our 2 kayaks for a nice trip on the water or use our bikes for a ride down through the quiet streets. The town of Ocean Springs is as cute as can be so you won't want to miss seeing it! Of course if you want to try your hand at the casinos, they are just a hope and a skip across the bridge.
